Such a good read! I loved the characters, the primary and secondary conflicts, the romance, and specifically the focus on art and creativity!

To be honest I think all the discussions on how art and creativity affects you and what place it has in your life is what bumped this read up to 4.5⭐️, more than the romance!

The one downside I had was that it was dual pov and both POVs were in first person, which I had a bit of trouble with at first, and the internal monologues at the beginning felt a bit stiff, but that def got better as the book progressed.

I also wish that there had been a more satisfying conclusion to both of the mcs family issues, but we got just enough to be content with the direction things were taking, I guess.

Overall a super nice read!

Eeeeee!! I LOVE a good rivals to lovers and Grey nailed it with this one for me! The slow burn build up, misunderstanding each other until they finally kiss and learn to communicate and understand each other?!! The way they show how to learn to actually communicate with another person??? Let someone in finally after always doing it just for themselves?? Delicious! The sapphic romance?? Incredible. Here for all of it. It’s a fast read and perfect if you want a bit of a palate cleanser speedy romance that’s just simply yummy. 😍😍

I found this book to be kinda slow and jumped around at places to the point I was confused how we got there. The nail in the coffin though was the narrators, it was so hard to listen to. Sage’s narrator speaking for Noah sounded like a gremlin. I could barely make it through.
