"You deserve to be here."
"My heart beat ten times faster when she wrapped her arms around me again, and I felt like I was where I was supposed to be once more, a feeling I'd only ever gotten with a pen in hand."
This was a cute quick read, this gave all the fluffy vibes I was looking for. I liked the chemistry between Sage and Noah and just reading about Black women in an artistic / comic space. I love that the center of the story was drawing, and Black women taking up space and dominating the work space with their art and drawings. Their separate journeys with their art progressing as the story was told and the slow burn of yearning they have for one another was extremely beautiful to read. I liked their rivalry and thought it was entertaining and at times funny as well, their banter was super cute. I enjoyed their conversations, and the safe space they provided one another to express themselves and their triggers. The way they were able to talk to one another and be raw and vulnerable was amazing. I like how they were able to hold one another accountable and learning to be okay with asking for help.

Great characters and storyline. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy the narration. I felt the narrators were a little bit flat and gave nothing to the characters.

Cute! Nothing groundbreaking but I enjoyed Noa and Sage’s dynamic but didn’t care about much else of what happened in the book. I also found the narrator’s voice really annoying.

Both main characters fell entirely flat for me, there wasn't much to either of them which made their romance boring.
Cute, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine romance. Not my favorite audiobook narration: dual narrators with different reading speeds, one narrator's cadence felt off - reading one line at a time, not fluid, audible breathing; the other gave one of the love interests a gremlin voice that was distracting and almost juvenile, especially in spicy scenes. I think I would have liked this more in print/ebook.
