Such a beautifully written book!
It started off a little slow, but I came to really appreciate the characters and how she depicted their connections with each other and nature.

I would actually give this closer to four stars for Barbara Kingsolver's writing style, but the three stories themselves did not appeal to me as much as some of Kingsolver's other writings; the message felt somewhat didactic at times.
