Really not as good as the Rosie Project. I disliked Rosie immensely, she reminded me of a spoilt brat.
I really enjoyed THE ROSIE PROJECT, but this sequel less so. The joke seems to get pretty thin as our hero tries to support his wife in her pregnancy while connecting with a pack of men who do a lot of drinking in order to emote. I finished it, but didn't look forward that much to my reading time.
Funny and heartwarming. An enjoyable read. Just the kind of fluff I needed right now.
I still loved Don in all his eccentric glory but Rosie.....HATED her by the end of the book. If I had to rate just on Rosie the book would have gotten one star. I'm not sure you can marry someone knowing exactly what they're like, get purposely pregnant without telling them and then turn into a raging witch when they react exactly like you could have expected. Will I read another if the author continues this story? Absolutely. Just to see Don as a father and to see how Bud turned out. Rosie could fall off the planet at this point and I'd be totally ok with it.
If you loved the first book you will love this one! It’s such a beautiful series. Can’t wait to start the third book.
I didn't expect it to be better than the first, but I expected it to be just as good. and not just beat Don down constantly. why should he be the only person making an effort? why should he be the one to fix everything for everyone?
Just as funny as The Rosie Project. Hoping for a third!
I didn’t like this as much as the first one, felt a little more of the same, but it was still a fun read.
3.5 stars - I really like the ending on this one but it didn't capture me like the Rosie Project did.
