I didn’t like this as much as the first one, felt a little more of the same, but it was still a fun read.

3.5 stars - I really like the ending on this one but it didn't capture me like the Rosie Project did.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and didn't want to put it down. It does suffer a bit from some unlikely scenarios but frankly that didn't really bother me as I was just along for the ride! It was so fun! Rosie becomes a less than central character in some odd ways and Don develops more relationships. No one is more surprised than Don and as he points out, the more people involved, the more complexity and the more difficulty Don has managing. But he cares, so he tries and the results are hilarious and heart warming.

3.5* Definitely still like the first one more, but I loved the new character additions to this one. Rosie became a lot less likable but Don the opposite. He never ceases to amaze me. Very happy this sequel came out and I enjoyed reading it very much.

I was really looking forward to meeting Don and Rosie again. I didn't enjoy this as much as the first book, and could have done without the Lydia deception, but I did laugh out loud at one point in the book (I can't even remember what it was about!).

I shouldn't have read this book. I loved The Rosie Project so much, and I should have known a sequel would be a bad idea. This kind of book -- a funny little caper -- annoys me. Just wish I hadn't gone back for a second helping.

I really enjoy this series. I listened to the first book as an audiobook and the narrator was spot on. It was fun reading this sequel with his voice in my head. That said, I was also happy that this wasn't as predictable of a storyline as I would expect. Looking forward to more of Don.

DNF. Too long and boring and complicated. Perhaps someday I will come back and finish this.
funny lighthearted medium-paced

This is the sequel to The Rosie Project, which I reread a couple of months prior. Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t read the first book! Don and Rosie are now married and living in NYC, where Don is a professor and Rosie is a dual MD and PhD student. Rosie becomes pregnant, and hilarity ensues as Don wrestles with becoming a father. At times it was a little bit frustrating for me because I hate it when characters put themselves in precarious situations (this is why I don’t like the Harry Potter series…), but it was still enjoyable overall! And it ended in a positive way, which I wasn’t sure it would, and I was going to be upset if not ha.
