I did not love this the way I loved The Rosie Project, mostly because it felt like Rosie wasn't even really part of the story. It's worth reading, if merely to find out what happens next with Don and Rosie, but I found myself growing weary of Don's idiosyncrasies. Recommended for those that enjoyed The Rosie Project.
The book is a very fun read! We see the Don we know and love from the Rosie Project. However, as a woman who was recently pregnant, I'm slightly annoyed at the way pregnancy is represented. Rosie becomes completely unreasonable and makes numerous dumb decisions!
Not as good as the first book, but still funny, quirky, and charming. Could have been 50 pages shorter and less focused on the secondary characters.
Ugh I am very not impressed with this series. It does have some funny moments, but ultimately, it is very lacking and I'm very disappointed.
This was an amazingly entertaining book just like The Rosie Project! I loved them both!
I loved this book! Such a fun read, I laughed out loud several times, which I rarely do. The character of Don is so interesting as the ultimate 'logical' man that truly makes everything around him hilarious.
He is so innocently unaware of his impact on others, and when he does notice, he goes the logic route and things twist utterly away from reality.
Rosie seems a bit two dimensional as the story goes on, but she comes around near the end. It's amazing how Don is perceptive enough to help George's son, and clever enough to come up with the Gordian Knot solution to several issues at once.
I love the easy style of Simsion's writing, I'd recommend this series to anyone looking for a fun, light-hearted read.
