Eh. Whereas Don seemed somewhat weirdly charming in the first book he was insufferable in this one. I suppose that was for a reason, and yet it made for unpleasant reading much of the time.
A brilliant sequel, I really enjoyed this - really hoping that there's going to be a third installment.
Extremely funny and full of accurate feeling observations.

My review of the "Rosie Project" (first book in this series) says the first half of that book is funnier. Same with this one, somehow. There were laugh-out-loud moments, but the book gets more and more complex as it goes on. Still, much better than the Big Bang Theory TV shows. Plus, I can't help but identify with the main character. People are SO hard to understand!
brilliant and engaging. excellent voice performance on the audiobook.
The Rosie Effect continues Don's oblivious, social ineptness and yet he gets it right. His lack of consideration to Rosie and her needs, while not intentional, serves to expand his relationships with others. I enjoyed this read with some tearing up and laughter.
This book is hilarious and one I love recommending. Good for the soul who tends to read heavy books and needs a laugh and something lighter.
(plenty of F***s in it though, so heads up)

I actually really enjoyed this book, so 3 stars seems low. That said, I was sooooo disappointed at the end. I didn't understand the ending because I was never able to keep all the players straight or buy into the urgency of the 'father project'. I did love the main characters and the fresh take on reading from the viewpoint of someone with Aspergers. Obviously, this is a talented writer, but I wish the plot made more sense and some of the peripheral characters got more play time. Still, I would recommend it and I'm sure other people were able to follow the plot easily - maybe I struggled because I always read just before bed and in tiny sections at a time.
A little slow in the beginning, but once you get into the rhythm, the story moves along quickly. A good continuation of The Rosie Project.
Less impressed with the sequel, but it was still entertaining enough to read in one sitting.
