Wonderful and very humorous, but not as a strong as the first book. Still an enjoyable read. Laughed quite a bit.
Disappointing after such a great first book. Same tired scenarios and very contrived.
Don was no longer quirky but unbearable. The book had absolutely no charm
3.5 stars
3 stars for the plot and 4 stars for Don (I can't help it, I love him as a character).
I didn't like this quite as much as the first book but it was still very good. I enjoyed being in Don's head again.

The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion is a sequel and assumes knowledge of The Rosie Project. This book does not have the joy and humor that the first book did. Perhaps, that is the nature of life. The first book was about the first rush of romance with its rose-colored glasses; this book is about life in a relationship, with its ups and downs and its dose of reality. Either way, this one's a little disappointing after the first.
