Acotar....
An exact replica but with unnecessary swearing. I usually love profanity in books, but this made me feel uncomfortable. Drugs and alcohol are really okay in this world, and i didn't like that aspect since it really isn't okay and shouldn't be normalized, other than the fact that it seemed very childish and convenient for the plot.
Bryse was feyre.... With a hint of aelin. She was the typical "party girl" who has super awsome secret superpowers. She was also skilled with the art of the blade and guns.
Hunt athalar.... He was Rhysand, but with a hint of flavor. Not alot though. He was so bland. Just a typical brooding "alphahole".
Most characters were also bland. It's like I've read about them before. They all give me acotar and tog vibes.
The only charecter that I loved was lehabah. She carried the entire book on her back. I refuse to believe otherwise.
It wouldn't be a Sarah J. Maas book if there was 500 pages of doing absolutely nothing, and then the plot kicking in at the last 50 pages.
Overall, I pretty much predicted the entire book at some point between pages 400 and 600. The book wasn't really edited, and it showed.
If acotar was your cup of tea, and you want to read about the same characters but in a different font: this is the book for you.
