Gilda's intention was to write a book that would be helpful, a guide for those going through ovarian cancer like herself. I think she failed miserably. From the benefits of money and being famous comes Gilda's ability to fly across country to benefit from the care of top doctors and sites. I had intended to add this to by list of books for patients but I am going to pass.

I didn’t want to finish it because I didn’t want it to end!!

A very good look into the life of Gilda Radner. Very funny in some moments, but obviously very sad and tragic overall as she details her battle against ovarian cancer.

It ends about 6 months before she died. It's interesting.

I expected it to be funny and more interesting but cancer really isn’t funny. It was inspiring at times.

I didn’t want to put it down but I also didn’t want it to end. I already knew what ultimately happened to her but the hope stays alive the entire book. What an amazing life she lived.. I plan to go back and watch her seasons of SNL and get to know her characters.

So heartbreaking this world lost her light far too soon. Glad it continues to shine thru this book and her performances. 🥲

A gauntlet, to be damn sure. Especially knowing that cancer killed her very shortly after this was published.

She was one of the greatest of all time. Love you Ms. Radner.

I wish it hadn't been Gilda, since there are more aspects of her life I want to hear about, but for a cancer story, it was enlightening.
