I listened to the audiobook for this book, and I must say, as someone who is from Montana, read the paper back, do not listen to the audiobook ever. For anyone listening to the audiobook, I would just like to point out that Montanans do not have a southern accent. Montana is indeed in the north, not the South. Even though we ride horses, that does not mean we have a southern accent. That being said, I really enjoyed this book. The multiple perspectives created so much suspense, coupled with the unexpected plot twists. Thinking about it just gives me chills. As usual, Nora did an amazing job. She always does. This is a great book if you want a predictable, feel-good romance, along with a nail biting mystery that'll send you for a loop.

Nora did it again - loved it! I felt like I was on the ranch too and loved how the relationship between the sisters evolved. There was suspense, romance and a clear understanding of life in Montana. Great read!

Everyone was right her book Black Hills is the same as this, but I liked Black Hills better.
adventurous challenging dark emotional funny lighthearted mysterious relaxing sad tense medium-paced

This book is an interesting blend of thriller, chilling, witty, and hilarious elements. I LOVE it!

Something I would have read 15 years ago but found I don't enjoy these type of books like I used to. Fairly typical romance type book with murder thrown in. The author's imagery was good but the story itself was too formulaic and predictable. The twist at the end was a bit hard to believe. Okay read for mindless entertainment

Voilent but good.

Willa + Ben, Tess + Nate, Lily + Adam... I loved Tess and Nate and I would have been fine if they got their own separate story highlighting just them. I like Lily and Adam. I liked Ben, but I was impartial to Willa. The twist at the end was something I didn’t have in my list of possibilities so I was surprised.

4.5 Stars.

I liked the characters, I liked the setting, I liked the interactions, and I liked the suspense element—it was truly creepy, even if I figured out whodunnit way before the big reveal.
