I loved it because there were a lot of parts where they went back to their memories.
My friend left this at my place to read, and it's just as fun to sift through now as it was several years ago. I loved Ocarina of time as a kid, so this was a fun trip down memory lane.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite Zelda game (currently haha, haven't finished Breath of the Wild yet). It was a lot of fun to read my favorite game in manga form!
Picked this up as pre-reading for Tears of the Kingdom having never played the game (I was a PS1 child). Sadly this manga felt very nostalgia fuelled and lacked coherence - surely aimed at those who know the source material well. The plot is a mess and the pacing is all over the place. Bumping it up from 2 stars as the art is incredible, some of the best I've seen in a manga. Not sure I'll read the others though...
This was so much fun to read. The Legend of Zelda series is among my favorite game series ever, and Ocarina of Time is considered the best in the franchise and one of the best video games ever (a statement in which I wholly agree). This manga adaptation is pretty faithful, and the changes they make allow the manga to flow very well and allow for it to be a pretty easy read even if you don’t know the games. I love this, I want more of this, and reading it just made me very happy.
So unlike many people, I have never played any game form of Zelda; therefore, I went into this manga almost completely blind. I did know it had something to do with Link and that Zelda turned into Sheik....other than that I really had no concept. Going in with that mindset I was actually pleasantly surpised about how much of a fun read this story was.
Link starts out as a child in the Kokiri Forest, but he doesn't seem to fit in with the others there since he does not have a fairy. After the Great Deku Tree is attacked, Link finds out that he is actually an outsider from Hyrule and he is needed to have the kingdom. Thus begins the journey of Link.
The best part about this story is honestly about how sweet, nice, naive, and generous the main character Link is. He has been given an impossible task, to go out into a world he has no idea about, to save a kingdom that he barely knew he was a part of. Despite all of this, Link shows incredible courage and overcomes any and all hardships with courage and quick thinking.
I love the story between Link and Zelda, and this has definitely intrigued me to play the game. If you want to read a story about an extremely likeable hero, who does not get too big for his britches, then Link is the hero for you. I am super excited to continue on with this series.
