I picked up this book because I heard it was “spicy.” I expected it to be mostly smut with little plot (which I was fine with because I waited until I was in the mood for that), but that was not the case. I wouldn’t consider this a spicy book, although there are a few moments, but I was hooked by the story!

Dex was a jerk at times, and probably should’ve gone to therapy for at least a couple of sessions, but he was HOT. I’ll be real: I recently had an age-gap crush, so that definitely has something to do with my interest and appreciation.

I loved Dex’s daughters! They were funny and sweet.

Dex a 40yr old single dad and Winnie,22 years old and is a firm believer of happy endings and big romantic gestures. 

This is an enjoyable read which makes it a 3 star read for me.

The 3rd act breakup didn’t really sit well with me but other than that I think that it was a good storyline.

Felt like it was more about the kids then their relationship.

 I'm just tired of the trope of the girl moving across country so they're separated for half the book and he has to go chase after her

Wow, this book was everything! I absolutely adored Winnie and Dex’s story . Dex’s daughters were so cute and the scenes with them were hilarious. I love what Winnie and Dex brought out of each other and their journey from casual hookup to relationship. I think their fears and insecurities were really realistic and appreciated how they overcome them. I can’t wait to read the next books in the series. I highly recommend this book!
