“Sometimes we have to leave home to chase our dreams…And sometimes we find ourselves right back where we started, and that’s okay too.” ❤️‍🔥

Winnie is a hopeless romantic who always gives her heart away too easily. Dex is a hot, grumpy, single dad, firefighter who just moved in next door. 🥵 Winnie has sworn off love and Dex has closed off his heart. Yet, when they meet there is instant tension between the two of them. They decide to keep things casual and promise to not fall for each other….”I don’t love you”…”I don’t love you too.”

This book was fantastic! I loved every minute of it! Winnie & Dex are freaking fire 🔥 the chemistry & spice 🥵🥵🥵 But my favorite thing are Dex’s two little girls, Hallie & Luna. Kids in romance books can be complicated, but these two are PERFECTION — you fall in love with them right from the beginning.

The Cloverleigh Farms Series was fantastic and this extension of the series is absolutely wonderful! I love the inside jokes, the similarities between Winnie & Dex and Frannie & Mack, Winnie’s bestie Ellie, PIGLET 🥺🐈‍⬛ — just loved it 🥰

After 5 books in the Cloverleigh Farms series, Melanie Harlow is an insta-buy for me. Her perspectives on contemporary romance and the fact that she chooses all different tropes makes the series entertaining and enjoyable. Some authors fall into the trap of the same trope over and over again, making it feel like we are reading the same book but with different names...not Melanie! This book was similar to Irresistible since it was a Single Dad romance, but the rest of the story was completely different.

I was a bit hesitant due to the age gap initially, but once Dex showed his true colors alone with Winnie, I was hooked! I absolutely devoured this book and could barely put it down. A few moments made me tear up, a few made me giggle out loud, and the relationship Dex had with his family made my heart feel things. The only thing it was missing was a bit more information towards the ending. I would have liked more detail but less epilogue on this one!

Winnie & Dex

A great return to Cloverleigh Farms. I finished the first five books in the series at the end of December 2021 & am so glad I read all of them before starting the second generation series.

Single-dad Dex moves into the townhouse next to Winnie & it’s his daughters (Hallie & Luna) who fall in love with her first. After each of their nights together, they go back & forth joking “I had fun tonight, but I’m not in love with you” … until one day they stop & neither of them notices.

This book has heart, steam, tender moments, and is full circle to book one in the series.
