This was a nice, easy read! The characters were very likeable, Dex was very grumpy (which we love to see) & Winnie was a not annoying hopeless romantic.

The kids really added to the story, they were so so cute & I loved the way they teased their Dad.

It's very... insta-lust? which I don't mind, but I wish there was a slight bit more tension over a bit longer time frame as opposed to the first night... But that's just my preference!

Overall, it was a good book & I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

I read this not knowing it was a next generation follow up to the Cloverleigh Farms series. (Which I only read Insatiable in the series lol)

You can definitely read this as a standalone though

Not gonna lie, it took me a bit to get into the story. I normally have no problems with age gap books, and I don't think it was the age gap per se I think it was that they constantly brought up not only how young Winnie was but how young she actually looked and I get that's part of the whole plot/taboo of the book but like they made it feel like he was lusting after a teenager/minor and that's just not my kink. Idk

Aside from that it was an entertaining and enjoyable read. Halle and Luna were adorable and really smart and funny. Their interactions with Dex were very amusing and cute. Dex was
