I absolutely love this book! It was amazing to read about Winnie as I have previously read the original cloverleigh farm series and her parents were my favourite couple out of them all! I absolutely love Dex, he is the perfect single dad. This book had me laughing from the first page and I was just so hooked into finding out more about them. Hallie and Luna are just amazing little girls and have been bought up so well. They make such a cute couple and it was nice to see Dex believe in happy ever afters again and Winnie finally found her soulmate! The epilogue was everything and I can’t wait to read more of this series!! Would highly highly recommend.
Who doesn’t love a good single dad romance book? ESPECIALLY WHEN HES HELLA PROTECTIVE BUT ALSO GREAT AT SEX?! This is what dreams are made of. I love this series so much and i can’t wait to read tease. Winnie and dex are iconic af. And I’m glad she was able to spend some time alone to learn her heart and what she wanted. I lowkey wanted dex to grovel more especially after the shit he said to Winnie but I’m just happy for them

everyone saying this is the best single parent is a liar and I feel wronged, it was good but it felt so surface level
I just....gave feelings about this
The writing is mostly good .
Dex was the main issue. Sometimes, he was a likable grump, and other times, he was the poster child for toxic masculinity. I forgot to highlight the lines that made me feel ragey from him, but he really had some straight up drank the toxic man cool aid moments. Like gods forbid he paint his toenails with his daughters. Or the times he goes off one Winnie, or Bree, or even Naomi for shit they don't deserve to be yelled at for. He even yelled at the girls once after also yelling at Winnie all because he was upset about his shit stain of a father wanted contact on his death bed.

Ok so I’m a sucker for a single dad / single parent romance and then you throw in the age gap, yummy . I loved this story. The relationship / friendship between Dex and Winnie will have you on edge and give you all the feels . I loved every second of this book. And omg Dex’s girls were great. I am looking forward to reading more of this series.

My favorite book of 2021!! Hands down. This book was everything I wanted and didn't know I needed. I had a HUGE smile on my face while reading it.
The chemistry between Winnie and Dex was off the charts, and Dex's girls were so adorable, they stole the show. It was such a treat to read this new generation and revisit some of my favorite Melanie Harlow characters.
And don't even get me started on Ellie. I am DYING to get my hands on Taste!! Is it March yet?
