I absolutely love a single dad romance and this one did not disappoint! Dex is a total grump and Winnie is a hopeless romantic. This was a super quick, easy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. Dex’s daughters were super sweet too. Highly recommend this book!

I absolutely loved everything about this sweet and steamy age gap romance. I was so excited to return to Cloverleigh Farms, and adding in a grumpy, sexy single dad with adorable daughters, I was completely captivated! Winnie MacAllister brings us full circle back to the beginning of this series. She is Mack's young daughter, all grown up. She is an event planner at Cloverleigh Farms and is in love with being in love. After her last heartbreak, she has sworn off men for awhile. That is until a sexy firefighter, single dad moves in next door. Dex Matthews is not good at opening up or being vulnerable to anyone, which ended his marriage. Being an ex navy SEAL with back to back deployments, Dex Matthews was closed off, alienating his wife. He also missed so much of the firsts with his young girls. After they divorced, Dex isn't interested in a relationship, only to be the best dad possible to his adorable little girls. When his girls form a bond with Winnie, Dex is frustrated, especially because she is younger than he is. But they all have fun together, and Dex can't stay away from the beautiful woman who is so full of life and is easy to talk to. They soon agree to a no strings, neighbors with benefits arrangement, and wow their chemistry is explosive! But when things change, and become complicated, it is not only their hearts that get broken. I loved, loved, loved this funny, heartfelt, and sizzling romance! Dex is grumpy on the outside, but is a total softy behind his walls, which makes him extra swoony. Winnie is lively, independent, and adventurous, making her a perfect match for Dex. I loved them together and the evolution of their relationship as they faced the complications and challenges of life. I laughed out loud more than once at the many different conversations, especially with Dex's girls. I also loved getting to know some new characters and hope to get more of their stories as well. Like Winnie, I am also a sucker for a great grand gesture, and this had one that was hilarious and made me so very happy! This fun, heartfelt and sizzling romance is a must read!

I started reading this with an hour left in work, just a silly romance book to pass the time, but I was quickly pulled in and did not want to stop reading it. It was really cute and I genuinely enjoyed it. I loved how involved the little girls were, the spell casting was an adorable tidbit to throw in, and the secondary princess ogre story was cute and exactly what an imaginative little girl would do.
Also, I had no clue this was in a series and did not need to know, it genuinely works as a stand-alone.
