I really liked Ignite, and I want to read more of the Cloverleigh Farms series.
Dex is a firefighter, former military, and a single dad. He's trying his best to co-parent, and spend as much quality time with his kids as possible. Falling for his much younger neighbor was not in his plans.
Winnie is a doll. I liked her immediately. I loved her reference to Gladys Kravitz, and her talk of Bewitched. I loved that she loved love. While she may be trying to protect her heart, she knows in the end that she'll fall. It's just her history, and who she is. Also, the way she fell for Dex's daughters? LOVED THAT. She was all in with those girls.
Witnessing her and Dex fall for each other had me smiling. What started off as a neighbors with benefits situation quickly became something else entirely. It was a matter of who would admit feelings first. It was when the feelings started to become real that Dex would annoy me occasionally. He clearly loved her, yet he couldn't get over his hurdles to admit it. Or at least not until it was almost too late.

Who wouldn’t love a Ex Navy Seal who is now a firefighter AND a single dad ? Especially with two adorable little girls who are wishing for them to get together
Ignite fast tracks it's way under your skin. Dex and Winnie tempt with humor and tease with heart. Harlow brings the fire to a heartbreaker and leaves a lasting impression. A MUST, MUST, MUST READ.

This was a good quick read. I didn’t love Winnie in the beginning, and I think Dex has a bit of anger management that didn’t quite get addressed, but, I loved the end of the story. I’m a sucker for a good HEA, even if the road there was missing some vital character development.

I think I am officially a Melanie Harlow fan. This is the second book I have read and it was 5 stars as well. Super cute. Super sweet. Just a nice romance that sucks you in. I love it and will continue to make my way through Harlow's catalog.
