Melanie Harlow

3.92 AVERAGE

This book has many of my favourite tropes and I love a good single parent romance, this book didn’t disappoint, despite the age gap. This book was well written and I would definitely read more Melanie Harlow books.

The story of Winnie and Dex was sweet, funny with a dash of spice throughout. Their story starts off with Dex moving into the townhouse beside Winnie and her trying to not fall for the single dads grumpy exterior.

Overall I really enjoyed this age gap romance story!

This book is the first of the second series of Cloverleigh farms which I wasn’t aware of when I started it, so I’ll be going back in time and reading the first generations stories before moving through this series!

“That’s how I want to be loved—big and crazy. Because that’s how I love.”

I see what the hype is about with this book. I loved the romance between Dex and Winnie and honestly? The children made this book for me. Hallie and Luna were precious little beans and I felt their love through the pages. I adored seeing older characters like Frannie and being back in this world. This book is definitely worth the read if you haven't already picked it up.

Super cute read. I appreciated how the kids were written - realistic based on my 9 and 6 year olds antics!

Cute little single dad romance. Nothing crazy

Was this the best book I have ever read? Absolutely not. Was it a fun vacay read? Yes!! If you can overlook some problematic moments and extra tropey tropes, this is a good pick. I’m a sucker for a single dad with adorable daughter’s trope

she talked about his dad in at least 100 pages and he didn't even appear

Not horrible so not one star but I don't get it at all - the desire for the other I guess is just physical and then it turns into something more but I can't get into it. Skimming until 40 percent and then DNF.
