This book was PERFECT. NO NOTES.

I absolutely adored both Winnie and Dex. I'm not usually a single parents trope fan but gobbled it up in this one like it was my last meal. This might be my favorite small-town romance series to date. I also didn't realize it was a series until I was halfway through this book.

Read if you like:
- small town romance
- grumpy / sunshine
- age gap
- forced proximity
- single father

I'm about to go down the Cloverleigh Farms rabbit hole.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Super cute, right amount of steam, likable characters. I will definitely read more from this series.

I’m really enjoyed this single dad romance. It started where girl is spying on hotty guy moving in next door with two girls. Winnie has had a bad experiences with her love life and is on a break from love. Dex had a horrible relationship with his dad. It was entertaining to watch Winnie and Dex circle around each other and learn about each other. The author did a wonderful job telling the emotional difficulties that both parties experienced. Those two girls made the story. They were cute with their antics and banner. This was a heartwarming story that had me laughing and left me with a smile.

well first of all i absolutly hate when people make up words for random things people do, like emophilia means you fall in love often WHERE ARE YOU PULLING THIS OUT OF, and second she just got called childlike too often, like my brother in christ if she acts looks and talks like a child is this just an excuse to date a child legally. You can write good romcoms while still being feminist and portraying women as anything unfeminine it wont hurt you i promise. also it is a giant red flag in any book if the main characters have to verbally drill the tropes into your head for you to like a book, like im sorry if i open a fantasy book to see a character going "its almost like were enemies to lovers" i am burning it on the spot what happened to showing not telling (reasonable request) and not putting every aspect of the book spoiler non spoiler wise in the SUMMERY?? why are you giving away every plot point just so people will read your book i DONT HAVE TO NOW.
