There was something about the narration of this book that didn’t quite hit which is disappointing because I LOVE Candace Parker and sports nonfiction books.

Great read, and the book was well written.
I also believe in the can-do mindset, knowing when to follow your heart.

Great book! Honestly started reading it the day her jersey was retired from the Sparks

I really loved reading about Candace Parker’s life. She is a legend in every sense of the word!!!! I could hear her voice in the writing of this book. It was really special to read more about what she was struggling with behind the scenes. The organization of this book was weird though. I guess I really wanted it to be chronological and I felt like she switched topics a lot within chapters or even sections of chapters. Also I kind of feel like the title makes you think it’s going to be a self help kind of book but it’s really a memoir and there’s not really any preachy self help stuff in it which I was glad about.
