This was my first time reading a reverse harem erotica book and I had no idea what it entailed. I did enjoy the dynamic of each of the men in this book 1. A brooding youngest brother grieving his mother's loss and being angry at the world. The softer middle brother and the protective older brother, but when this young female walks into their lives she turns them all ferral. A fight to qho can get to her first and *spolier* they all do.
I gave it 3* as the lad chaper just made women want to throw the book against the wall. It gave no indications it was going to turn into a kidnapping sex slave cult and it just pissed me off. I'd have rather it have stayed withing the taboo of slight incest and not took the turn it did.

This book had me in an absolute chokehold, I never knew I wanted stepbrother's so much. Why have 1 stepbrother when you can have 3. There is a good dose of possessiveness, bad boy vibes, spice and forbidden secret romance. I loved how much the story pulled you in. THIS BOOK IS TABOO, STEAMY AND FORBIDDEN. If you don't enjoy that stuff don't read!!!!

This was steamy and intense. The sub plot with the gangs and her dad is definitely interesting. That cliffhanger though, yeah I'm gonna need to find out what happens next.

I loved this book and when I say I loved this book I read it in almost one sitting and that's extremely rare for me. The relationships and the plot were almost pitch perfect for me. The only issue is that the rest of the series hinges on a plot introduced at like 80% in on this first book and I am just not a reader that handles that well.
If I think this book series is one thing and at 80% you turn it in to something else I'm not gonna read it. I'm petty that way. I would have much rather had more hints and maybe heavier hints throughout the book and then I would have handled that plot much better.
As it was I started book two and ended my engagement with the series soon after.
AK Rose is a fabulous writer though. I'll definitely be looking for other books that maybe aren't in a series or set in a universe of interconnected standalones.
