Review
This is the darkest romance I have read thus far and I was absolutely here for it. The spice was off the charts. I didn’t think I’d be into RH/Why Choose and I have avoided it but since I kept hearing about this series, I gave it a shot and lord have mercy I am hooked. I also didn’t think I’d be into step siblings and I did wince a bit at them referring to Ryth as “little sister” but here I am. The obsession, possessiveness, and desire the brothers have for Ryth is delicious. The scenes were plentiful and well described.
The plot of what’s going on behind the scenes is well done too. It ends in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what happens next 🖤

The only real question here- Is this book worth reading or not?
It is. And it is not.
It truly depends on what you are looking for.
If a good step-brothers (yes multiple, together) steamy romance is all you're looking for, then this book will satisfy you quite well.
If you're looking for anything (LITERALLY ANYTHING) else- you're probably in for a great deal of disappointment.
Our male leads are all extremely one dimensional, with next to no character arcs. The main female lead herself, can be a drag to listen to, with her personality doing 180 switches ever too often. Her feelings, her thoughts, her actions, her opinions; none are consistent with the premise build before them.
The book ends with a cliffhanger, but even that is not enough to make me want to read the next book in the series.
It is like 'Haunting Adeline' if Adeline's stalked turned out to be her step brother, and Adeline got mood swings like a freaking pendulum.

This book was fast paced with the brotherly action and slow with the plot. I feel like it needed something exciting to happen?¿ not sure if that’s book 2.

I am PISSED (in a good way) how can it just END like that?!!! I hate her mom (always have) hate her stepdad. The only thing I disliked was the dining room scene (iykyk) and when they call her “little sister” it’s such an ick. But other than that the plot was plotting and the smut was smutting.
This book was kinda chaotic and has a lot going on I almost DNF several times but ended up enjoying it and curious so I might continue series, not sure yet. In the end gave it 3.75 stars
