Ok a little cliche and tropy, buuuuut the ending was fantastic and with that cliff hanger I for sure need to continue the series.

I just felt very confused reading this book. The FMC starts off as timid but wants to have a strong personality. She slowly starts to grow a back bone but then always goes back to being a push over. I also felt like we got to know the brothers a little bit but not much. Especially Caleb, he was just kind of there. Didn’t really do much.
To be honest they all need therapy, but I think they sort of help each other out in that aspect. I mean if you call getting freaky with your new step brother’s therapy. lol
There is a bit of back story on Ryth’s father going on, that I felt just led to more questions than answers. Her mother marrying their dad was all so sudden and it just feels like way more than they anticipated. The ending was really weird and it just led to more questions.
Some secret society?!? I hope the second book answers a lot more questions, because I don’t know how much more I can take.

I think lovers of dark, twisted romance would enjoy this.
One reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the young age (18 y.o.) of the female main character kind of bothers me and is unrealistic to me. I'd prefer the FMC in these types of books to at least be in her 20's. HOWEVER, that is a personal preference and I was able to get past that and enjoy the book.
A large focus of the book is the developing relationships between the characters and a LOT of spicy scenes. They are very graphic and consensual but push the boundaries; so be prepared.
There is some bullying but it isn't the worst I've had to sit through for a book. I really don't care for bullying, again, personal preference. And, again, it didn't stop me from reading the book.
There is an underlying plot that IS interesting, but the intimate scenes really overpowered my focus on the plot. The plot slowly develops and then EXPLODES at the end.
WOW! I mean, WOW! What a great ending! I wasn't sure I wanted to continue the series until I got to the last few chapters of this book. I immediately picked up the next one and it's off to a great, interesting start.
I think A. K. Rose did a great job developing the characters and setting up the plot lines. I am sooo intrigued and I think the subsequent books will be even better than the first.
Spice: 5 chili peppers. read your trigger warnings
Tropes: forced proximity, age gap, why choose, mafia ties, coming of age

I wasn't really sure where this was going. It popped up because I was looking for an enemies to lovers and sure I guess it fit the bill, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Spicy and definitely a weird why choose with all brothers (which....hey, I'm sure that's someones cup of tea). The parental dynamic was a bit weird though and I'm more concerned about what's going on in the background with this weird mafia cult that I was necessarily about the main characters.
Unsure and on the fence about where I'm interested enough to pick up the rest of the books, but for a quick read this one was okay.

holy hotness
This was a minor bully romance because it the bullying didn’t last for long or was bad at all. I loved the obsession from the men for Ryth; which by the way I love this name! I loved the suspense that came with this book. It was enough to know or guess what was coming but you didn’t get it right! The spice was on point but didn’t take away from the story line and the background history for the characters.

I enjoyed this book and finished it fairly quickly after being in a reading slump for well over a month. For me, the spice in the book was okay, but I feel it was a little repetitive. I enjoyed the storyline but also was taken aback by the way that the book ended. I feel like there were a few twists within the book but a huge part of me feels as though the book fell a little “flat” when it comes to the plot because the end of the book kind of seemed geared more toward sex.
