Definitely not for me. I was excited for a book about witches and felt hopeful when the burning times was referenced in the beginning - a horrific 400 years of women being burned alive for those of you who don’t know. However, the book quickly digressed into a slow moving horror film where young women constantly put themself in harms way and are surprised when they’re ill prepared to deal with a demon.

Leuk boek! Helaas niet met Toorn geëindigd. Daar hoop je dan ergens toch op als je vanaf het begin leest. Open eindes vind ik ook nooit zo geinig... maar goed. Op naar boek 2.

I loved this book SO much. Some parts were so vividly described I felt like I really lived in that world, and the ending was soooooooo good. The reason it isn't 5⭐️ is because I expected who the murderer was, and it was kinda slow at some parts, but I did NOT AT ALL expect the ending. Insane.
