I like the story told here, I just think they chose an odd setting to tell it in.

it’s odd that the dragonets are running a school when they’re as young as they are. I feel like the setting could have been told in a “this is a multi-month long summit for the dragon tribes” and they would have been able to tell the same story without having children teaching children

I care SO DEEPLY about everyone in this school. Auuuuuugh.

Slightly disappointed that it looks like book two (seven) won't be a school story? But I am still 100% on board with more time with this crew.

I absolutely loved this book! Not only is moon a super interesting character her mind reading abilities let’s the reader get to know the new characters really well. I also really loved the plot that was being built for the next five books although it can be predictable at times for older readers.
