I discovered The Chronicles of Narnia only in adulthood, at nearly 35 years old. I read them all, one after another, without pause, and, honestly, they captivated me. C.S. Lewis is undoubtedly a writer of rare intelligence and extraordinary talent.

When you read this series as a child, you are carried into a dreamlike world: an enchanted realm filled with kings, knights, talking animals, and magic, where heroism and beauty intertwine in grand, almost endless stories. You are fascinated by the adventure itself, by the spectacle of this fantastical world.

But when you read it as an adult, the story takes on a whole new dimension. Behind the adventures, the magnificent landscapes, and the noble characters, you uncover deep layers of meaning—hidden messages that challenge you to reflect on your own inner mysteries. Every page seems to speak to you about faith, sacrifice, and the truths that transform us.

Thank you, C.S. Lewis, for this literary gift that continues to illuminate the souls of readers. And if I may say something in the spirit of Narnia… may Aslan kiss you on the nose!

Oh my goodness!! I love the ending of this book! “All their life in this world and all their adventures in Narnia, had only been the cover and title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story which no one on earth has read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before” I can’t wait until that day! ❤️❤️❤️

A kind of sad but happy ending.

I enjoyed the book, but, like the majority of the series, it's heavily influenced by Christianity and religion.

It was nice how everyone was brought together at the end, all through the journey from old to new Narnia I had a suspicious something had happened which Aslan confirmed, it all seemed very "afterlife" cliché.

Overall, it was a good tale from the monkey playing tricks to the whole battle taking place, it was a well told story and ended the series nicely.
