Histoire un peu endormante. Je continue la trilogie afin de savoir ce qui est arrivé à Inge.

Excellent first entry in the series. Best part is the setting. So much historical perspective and interesting places and people.

better than raymond chandler in my opinion for well-written pure hard-boiledness.

I was apprehensive about this book. I don’t really like WWII books, but I really liked this one. Bernie Gunther was such a fun character. The atmosphere of the book was its own character; it was so chilling.
