A lighter continuation of Persepolis. The struggle of self and cultural identity amid foreign culture, extremist governance and young adulthood. Less political commentary, less geopolitical history, perhaps more social commentary but through more superficial means of how indoctrination, fanaticism dictatorship make us complicit. Classic case of not being as cool as your parents or grandparents.
