Enjoyed the style of writing and the set of characters were good.
However, there wasn't a lot of good, unpredictable twists, the ending was also a let down

Well, I now know what the mystery people are reading. That's all I can think to say - this is a book, and I read it.

I'm also a bit of a rube when it comes to figuring plots and twists, so the "How're they gonna get out of THIS?" effect works pretty efficiently on me. That's a fun feeling, but this book or others like it wouldn't be my first preference to give me that jolly.

I really enjoyed this book. The writing was very clever and cunning.

Not bad. Expected a better twist at the end. Did not like the voice the narrator used for the therapist.

I thought I was going to like this more than I did considering the 5-star rating I gave The Wife Between Us. Although I found the writing was good and I didn't struggle for motivation to pick the book up, what I didn't like was the constant changing of direction in terms of what we were supposed to believe was happening/had happened. This happened so frequently that I couldn't even work out in my head if the 'reveal' made even made sense in relation to all that had happened previously. For that reason, the twists and turns just didn't feel very satisfying to me and the overall story, therefore, wasn't very compelling. I think I'd have to go back and reread the whole book, knowing the ending, to see if it all did actually make sense/was convincing, but I definitely can't be bothered to do that. Based on how shocking and 'well done' the twists were in TWBU this was a real disappointment. I'm definitely still looking forward to upcoming work from these authors, but unfortunately, this book just didn't live up to what I had expected and wanted.

My oh my what a wonderful thriller! This novel had me hooked from the get-go! This story will make you think twice before signing up for a research study!

An Anonymous Girl is a wild ride and you better hold on to your seat!

Thanks to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for allowing me an eARC to read and give my honest review.

3.5 rounded up to 4.

Wow. Felt like I was on a roller coaster as I got further into the book / closer to the end. Was definitely on the edge of my seat! Could not put it down!
