It was nothing extraordinary, however I enjoyed listening to the audio book.

Ich fand das Buch sehr spannend. Narzissmus, Eifersucht, Kontrollwahn und Lügen führen mehrere Menschen in den Abgrund und andere nah daran heran.
medium-paced

Why are mental health providers always the insane ones in thrillers?… I am deeply concerned.

This was such a twisted story.  One of those stories where you are yelling at the main character to do something different.  I did however enjoy the ending.  I found it fitting.

An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen is a psychological suspense. I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down. They did an amazing job and I can’t wait to read more from these authors in the future.

Actual rating: 4.5 stars

This book got me so hooked because there are no dull moments in this fast-paced thriller by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. It's not really "action-packed," but the mystery and thriller aspect in this one is so intense that it's honestly hard to put the book down. If it weren't for my frequent migraines and busy schedule this whole month, I would have finished this sooner!

In this story, we follow Jessica Farris, a makeup artist in New York. Despite how much she loves her work and how talented she is at doing people's make up, the pay just isn't enough to support her family. Then she agrees on being a part of a research by Dr. Shields. The compensation she receives for answering questions and doing tasks for Dr. Shields is more than enough a help for her family back home until she discovers something that makes her regret ever agreeing to this research.

I've heard so many great things about this book and the tandem of these authors, and I'm glad that they did not disappoint. They deserve the hype, and I'm looking forward to reading their other works!
