I am not going to give any detail about the book - go into it with an open mind!

I love the plot of this book. It’s full of manipulation, questioning your instincts, and issues of morality and ethics. What would you do if you were desperate? Desperate for love? For money? For forgiveness?

I did feel like it dragged a bit which is why I’m rating it four stars. However, the last 20% of the book had been wishing I could read faster to see how it was all going to end. Overall, a great read!

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press for my advanced read copy of this book!

The twists and turns were good. Sometimes I thought I’d figure things out and I was right, other times I was wrong.
If you’re looking for a good, quick read, this is a great choice.

This was a very good story.

I thought this was a decently entertaining book. I like books with alternating POVs, especially in the psychological thriller genre. It just dragged a bit for me, took me longer to finish than usual. Still engaging enough for me to read in like 50-70 page bursts each time I picked it up. Didn’t wow me tho

I am a sucker for a thriller with an untrustworthy narrator. Going into An Anonymous Girl, I was worried it would be a thriller that you could guess the next move right away. Not with this one. The way the authors wrote the different perspectives to just show you only what they wanted to be seen really drew me in. You would have an idea in your head then read it from another perspective and the entire scene has changed. You couldn't trust the narrator or the other characters in the book. You get worried about which character will be the next loose cannon shot off. I've read enough thrillers that at the end I just put the book down and move on, but I have still been handing my copy of this one out to every reader I know.

Out 1.8.19. Mark your calendars, you are going to want to grab this must read of 2019!

Another addicting read from the authors of The Wife Between Us, dynamic duo Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.

Quick chapters that alternate POVs, which I absolutely love; it will be easy to whip through this one saying "just one more chapter." This psychological thriller will have you looking over your shoulder to see if anyone is following you.

Jessica is Subject 52 in Dr. Shields ethics and morality study. When she suddenly becomes the only subject in the study things take a wild turn. I don't want to say anything further or bring up other characters as I don't want to give anything away. Just know that it builds up chapter by chapter and the ending comes full circle.

You may think you know what's going on, but then a subtle plot point makes you change your mind. I did this chapter by chapter until I got to the climax. I then knew the path it was going to take and was satisfied with how it ended. Mic drop

I can't wait to see how they translate this to TV, as the rights have already been sold to eOne!

i honestly couldn’t finish this. i rarely start a book and don’t finish it but i just couldn’t. maybe my mistake was listening to it instead of reading, but it was so so so slow

I enjoyed their previous book enough that I grabbed this one.
Greer and Sarah do a marvelous job of keeping the suspense going throughout.
Jessica, a makeup artist overhears that a professor is conducting some research and is willing to pay a decent amount of money for participating. Her financial problems were her motivator for sneaking into the study that forever changed her mind.
I loved this story and am begging my colleagues to read it with me. I love how disassociated the doctor is throughout the novel, it definitely heightens the suspense.
How far will you go to keep your secrets?

Note: the doctors in this novel are completely unethical.
