This was definitely a page-turner...finished in one sitting. The tone of Dr. Shields annoyed me at times (the Psych 101 cliches). But other than that, I was definitely into the story and couldn't wait to find out what happened.

Cat and mouse game dragged out way too long. I felt the story could have been more effective if it hadn’t been so long. Plot is interesting, writing is great, just unnecessarily long.

o livro inteiro é um grande "meh", ia dar ★★ mas o final foi ok, então 2½ ★

Not a bad book - a slow start then it picks up. Will read more by these authors

Good story but nothing too, too surprising. Recommend if you're looking for something from this category that isn't too dark or scary. Would've liked a few more twists.

The summary on the back makes this book sound like sci-fi and I was disappointed when that wasn’t the case. The first 2/3 were amazing but I found the ending so anticlimactic that it ruined the whole book for me.

Definitely liked the wife between us better, was expecting a bigger twist with this. Still enjoyed and entertained by, though!

3.5 Stars. The beginning was a tad slow but builds into an interesting story around the 30% mark. It kept me guessing and it seemed like it was going to have this big explosive ending and then .. no pop, all fizzle. I questioned as to whether or not I had missed something in the last chapter before the epilogue but sadly, that’s not the case. Maybe it’s because I recently read a Karen Slaughter thriller and “An Anonymous Girl” was just lacking compared to other thrillers I’ve read. If someone asked me for a thriller recommendation, this would not be the book I’d recommend first.

Good read that kept my attention. I enjoyed the different perspectives and trying to guess how it would all end.

This one kept me reading as fast as I could. Hendricks and Pekkanen built the tension up in a really great way - there were twists and turns but you don't feel like there's a bunch of stuff you don't know or that there's going to be some crazy big reveal.
