I gobbled this one up in a single day. I like mysteries where all the characters are kind of shitty people, even the "heroine."

I’ve got to stop reading this genre. I spent half this book screaming at the heroine why are you doing that? I felt like I was watching a horror movie screaming at the people in it not to open the door because the murderer was out there. Why are you voluntarily going to the psycho’s house? Why are you accepting a drink? Why are you drinking it? I seriously need to take a break from this type of book. It’s just not working for me.

Greer Hendricks' and Sarah Pekkanen's second book does not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed The Wife Between Us, so I was anxious to see what these two authors had in store next. An Anonymous Girl is hands down one of my favorite books of the year. I actually liked more than The Wife Between Us.
The story alternates between Jessica's and Dr. Shields' POVs. Seeing things unfold from both POVs made things interesting and kept me on the edge of my sit. I was constantly wondering how everything was connected and how it would all turn out. All too often psychological thrillers don't live up to the hype, but that was not the case here. There was the perfect amount of mystery and suspense.
If you enjoy mystery, thrillers and/or suspense, I highly highly recommend An Anonymous Girl. You will not be disappointed!
