i don’t know what to say except that i just ….. don’t care about this book or any of the characters in it. i just do not care. this was honestly a chore to read and makes no sense. for a book about morality and ethics and psychology it is surprisingly one dimensional
From page one I was hooked! Could not put it down. Enticing. Thrilling. It rocked me to the core and kept me guessing. The back and forth of such different perspectives was so refreshing and allowed you to get inside the minds of the characters in a way that immersed you in the story! If you like Psychological Thrillers I whole heatedly recommend.
Okay read, was really expecting a big twist like all the “praise” says… but it never came.
Like others I read and loved The Wife Between Us. While this book is also filled with twists and turns, it doesn't hold the same edge that it's predecessor does. In the latter, the first chapter had me wondering if I'd be able to handle what was to come in the following chapters. With AAG I followed the story with curiosity more than suspense, which was just as entertaining, but unexpected nonetheless. For fans of TWBU, it's better to dive into this read withholding comparisons.
this was awesome. i love going through the thought processes of each character & comparing the thoughts to what i would personally do. we always think we wouldn’t do the same red-flag moves that the MC does, but the matter of the fact is… this FMC is so human.
the short chapters and differing POVs (first person & second person) are so refreshing & made this book fly by.
totally recommend if you like the show “you” on netflix, or if you’re looking for a really quick but super interesting & gripping psychological clinical study gone wrong mystery.

I really, really wanted to enjoy this book. And I did in the beginning! But by the halfway point I was bored and annoyed with the endless twists and turns. It was somehow too much and not enough at the same time and overall just fell a little flat for me.
Everything about this book worked for me. The pacing, the plot, the characters, I loved it all. It was one I couldn’t put down, and while the premise required slight suspension of disbelief it wasn’t that outlandish by current thriller standards.
And can we all agree that it’s wonderful to see a female protagonist with a real job? I found it so nice to see Jessica work as a makeup artist!
There has been some criticism about how Jessica could ever get in such a situation, but I didn’t find it unbelievable. She was desperate, and this seemed like a good option. I think we all can find ourselves suddenly in over our heads and Jessica was no different.
I was a big fan of the wife between us but I enjoyed this one even more. I’m definitely on board for whatever the authors write next.

Psych thriller. I was interested at first and then the twists started happening. I just read with my mouth open most of the second half. Genuinely like the ending.
