More Than I Could was a sweet and sexy introduction to the Marshall Family series. Chase is a grumpy single dad that needs help with his teenage daughter. Megan is the sassy and heartfelt heroine that fits them both. The banter between Chase and Megan was amazing! I laughed so many times throughout. Megan had such a kind and understanding approach to his daughter as well. I cannot wait for Gavin's story in the series! His ability to stir the pot kept me cracking up. Adriana's family series are always great and the Marshalls are no exception. Loved it!!

I will admit that I stayed up way too late reading More Than I Could (considering I had to work the next day).
Adriana Locke is an expert at delivering just the right amount of humour to her stories.
Right from the start there is great comraderie between the characters and I loved the dynamic between Chase and his brothers.
Chase and Megan rile each other up from the start and when you throw in Kennedy, Chase's 14yr old daughter who doesn't need a 'babysitter', there is lots of fun to had.
But great advice is also passed on as Kennedy navigates her teen years.

Adriana Locke doing what she does best!
My Review ⤵️
If there is one thing you can count on from Adriana Locke it’s her ability to write a feel good story. There are so many different genres out there, but I think Adi has a “Locke” on the small town romance. No one does it better, period.
Chase and Megan’s connection is instant, their banter is off the charts fun, and once they give in they are straight fire on the page. This group of side characters not only give depth to this story, they also open this world up for even more books, and what’s better than that?
This story has it all, a couple afraid of taking a chance, an angsty teen who is way smarter than she’s given credit for, and in true Adriana fashion, at its core this story is about family. Because what’s more important than family?
This is a sweet, steamy fun read that will take your mind off all the gross stuff going on in the world, and put a smile on your face!

"But sometimes when we don't love talking about things, it's because we've never had the opportunity to do so safely. I'm just letting you know that I'm willing to listen." -Chase
"...it's impossible for you to feel stupid. If you feel something, it's justified. It might not come from a logical place--maybe it comes from anxiety. But that doesn't make it stupid." -Chase
This was my first book by Adriana and I enjoyed it! I love a single dad/nanny book and this was a great one. One thing I liked about it was that Chase was a single dad to an older girl. It was nice to see a single dad of an older kiddo rather than the usual young kids with nannies in the other books I read. Megan was more of a temporary guardian while Chase's mom was away rather than a nanny since Chase's daughter, Kennedy, was 14 rather than a younger kid who needed constant supervision (although Kennedy still kind of needed constant supervision because...she's 14). Chase and Kennedy had a good relationship, but one thing I enjoyed was that Megan helped their relationship grow and change because Megan went through similar experiences as Kennedy, so Megan could help Chase see that not everything was black and white when it came to Kennedy acting out. I loved Megan and Chase's younger brother Gavin's relationship! They were hilarious together and fast friends, even if that wasn't always Chase's favorite thing. Chase and Megan had a good relationship too--after they gave in to it! This is sort of a slow burn, but then once the burn happens it's fast as hell. While some might even say that things between Chase and Megan moved too fast, I would disagree because I've always believed in fate and I think their relationship was fate--especially considering all the shenanigans that got them there! I enjoyed the banter in this book, not just between Megan and Chase, but between Chase and his siblings, Megan and her friends (including Gavin), and between Chase and Kennedy! I'm glad that this was my first Adriana book because it was such a fun read with some of my favorite tropes. I hope to see more from the Marshall family in the future!

I was lucky enough to get an early copy and what a good book! I’m typically not a standalone reader… I love a series and getting all the different stories of the characters and family members. But this book was so sweet, fun, witty, and gave me all the feels! The chemistry between Megan and Chase was perfect! Their banter and steam were the perfect combination! Adriana has done it again!
I have read, loved, and re-read every one of her books but this had a different feel to it. I feel like this has the potential to become a series and in my opinion it could end up being her best yet. I really hope it does, I would love to see Luke, Kate, and Gavin get their own books! I have to say, I think Gavin was my favorite character in the book though honestly! Absolutely loved him.

Nothing better than watching a single dad find love again, but before love hits Megan and Chase need to overcome quite a few obstacles. Needing a nanny for his daughter while his parents are away, the last person Chase expects at his door is the crazy woman he met on the road the night before. But with a load of apprehension and a case of he has no other option he opens his home to Megan. The sparks that were flying under the radar come full blown when the two are constantly around each other. But will Chase open his heart to someone who will be leaving? Or will Megan finally find the home she has always been searching for. Family dynamics at their best proves once again that Adriana Locke knows and understand small town romance in a big way. Loved it and cannot wait for more!!
I loved this one! Chase and Megan had chemistry that was off the charts! I was about 5 chapters in, and realized they were going to be explosive when they finally gave in. I was NOT disappointed! They were absolutely perfect for each other. Chase and Megan both had issues that they needed to work through. They helped the other see what was missing from their lives, and whether or not they were willing to fight for it. Kennedy was a good secondary character, and I loved the scene with her and Megan in the principal's office. They had a special bond too. I loved the small town setting of this one, and of course the whole Marshall family! Gavin and Luke were awesome additions to the story, and I loved that Megan adopted Gavin as her bestie from day one =) I CAN NOT WAIT to read the rest of this family's stories!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

From the moment Chase and Megan met, there was instant chemistry and some tension filled hate. Verbal quips. I ate their story up! Chase was so delectably grumpy and it was the best watching him fall. Megan love and protection with Kennedy just warmed my heart. I loved their connection. I absolutely adored the found family and home is more than just a physical place within this story. More Than I Could had everything I’ve come to know and love with Adriana Locke; sweet, swoony, spicy and filled with so much heart.
Tor and Maxine did a wonderful job narrating this book.
I snorted, swooned and giggled like a schoolgirl. I also wanted to dive into the story and shake Chase a time or two.
Just a few reasons that I enjoyed this book were:
-The banter and tension between Chase and Megan was on point.
-Their chemistry was perfect.
-The friendship that Megan developed with Gavin was so adorable
-I adored how Megan and Kennedy bonded, the sibling interactions between the Marshall family, and all the quirky little things thrown in.
If you have ever read something written by Mrs. Locke, you will know precisely what you are getting...heat, humour and heart. This book was such a fun and relaxing read that I cannot wait to listen to or read the next book in the series!

This book was absolutely adorable and left wanting so much more from the side characters and their stories.
Chase is a single dad who is in need of a nanny for a month while his mother goes out of town. His mom asks her best friend to do it, but when she gets injured, she sends her daughter Megan instead.
On her way into town, Megan has car issues and the guy (Diesel Man) is not very helpful. Even though he’s hot. They bicker back and forth, but eventually she gets on the road.
The next day when she shows up to her nanny job, she realizes that her boss, Chase, and the Diesel Man are one and the same. They instantly are attracted to one another, but know that nothing can come out of it.
Over the course of the book, we see Megan becoming one in their family and it is so heartwarming to watch. I loved the evolution of their relationship, not only hers and Chase’s, but hers and Kennedy’s (Chase’s daughter).
This was a light, fun read and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a single dad/nanny book.
