I don't yet have a dog so I can't say how useful this will be quite yet, but I can say that having read it I feel much more prepared to bring a puppy home! I love Zak's approach to training and his YouTube videos are amazing. With any luck this will set me up for a positive dog training experience!

Very handy, especially for new puppy/dog owners. The book is logically laid out, and Zak George is a good narrator. I will be purchasing this book for reference, as well as checking out his videos.

YouTube videos are paired with book sections. Definitely helpful for understanding how to lure and train commands. The book has a broad background on choosing a dog, prepping to bring a puppy/dog home, training, health care and more. My only complaint is that the book tends to assume a certain level of privilege - affluent folks with lots of free time and $$ to dedicate to training.

FIRE. THANK U KING U GAVE ME THE PEP TALK I NEEDED TODAY I AM AB TO HAVE THE MOST WELL BEHAVED POODLE OUT THERE
Thanks for not labeling my fearful Yorkie dog as aggressive...he came to us at the age of three with some resource guarding issues and they have gotten better in just six months. We will always have work to do but with your reinforcement of what we are doing and lots of positive training classes we know what we are working with and how to proceed when he lets us know he is scared or is guarding something.
