the narrator was a bit frustrating, all her voices sounded similar. Also the main character was very annoying. I understand she was stressed, but I couldn't handle it. I may come back to it as a book not an audiobook.

Where to start with this book. The cover is absolutely beautiful. I love all things Autumnal and this is the perfect autumn read!
I’m not usually a paranormal gal but this work of art was right up my street.
Annie Lane is just your usual high schooler, until she’s murdered and she’s back looking for her revenge. This is a fast paced murder with lots of suspects and I’ll be honest I did not see that coming, it was gripping right up to the last page.
Filled with complex characters, I loved the twins, Sam was the perfect support for Annie. I could have easily read this in one sitting but unfortunately I had to adult and parent between reading session.
I didn’t find Annie very relatable but I enjoyed her character nonetheless, she was strong, fierce, true to herself and full of revenge.
I would say this is the older end of young adult fiction - lots of swearing (which I love) and sexual references but kind of closed door.
