This series is a new comfort read! And Honor blew me away!
Xander and Teddy were always end game, everyone saw it. Even her past?! MIL saw it before her son passed away. Teddy and her previous husband had been together since HS, he tragically died in an accident while out on call. Teddy moves closer to her brother while pregnant with baby number 3 with Logan. Teddy is one hell of a mother. To lose a husband while pregnant I could never imagine. Xander has always been in love with Teddy, but never expressed any interest because he’s a total green flag angel baby! But with the loss of Logan he steps up to help her wherever she will let him. But feelings and attraction quickly grow. I mean the man delivered her baby on her bathroom floor from another man, and he still wanted her…baby if she didn’t hubby him up I would have in a heartbeat.
I see a lot of reviews who don’t like the fact she moved on so quickly after her husband’s death. After 15 years a yearish doesn’t seem that long especially only after a few months of giving birth. My thing is I probably would feel that way in real life. However, this author does a phenomenal job with this topic in my opinion. You see the struggle Teddy and Xander both go through on this topic. It’s raw and real. He doesn’t push her (typically), and she is going to therapy and processing everything. But the author wrote this relationship in a way we know they were always meant to be. Like Xander says he just had to wait for his time. In the end if Logan had not passed, I feel something else would/could have broken up the marriage. They could have divorced or something, but that can get nasty. With this plot line, he’s loved, cherished and remembered. This is just how it played out, to me Teddy moving on does not dampen his memory. His own mother told her she knew Teddy and Xander were meant for each other. And again Teddy is 31 a single mom of 3 and Xander is 42-43 never been married and wants a life with her and the kids. Time won’t change that for them. Why should they wait and draw it out. They are all happy including the kids, to me that’s what matters most!
Absolutely beautiful story and perfect end to an incredible series!

Ok, I think this series saved the best for last, because Honor just blew me away! This story just stole my heart from the very beginning. I fell completely in love with Teddy and her children from the very beginning, and her loss was utterly heart breaking. Knowing she had Xander as a neighbor always looking out for her though, I knew she was going to be under the best watchful eye and couldn’t wait for them to fall head over heels for each other.
Narrated by Vanessa Edwin and Aiden Snow in Duet, these two did such an amazing job. From the highs to the lows and all the in-betweens, these two really made you FEEL everything. There were such incredible emotions and these two made me fall so in love with these characters and this story and make this series wrap up in such a beautiful way and make it the best one, I just squealed!
Book 3/3 was the best in the series. 4.75/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3/5🌶️🌶️🌶️
Single mom of three after her husband dies after finding out she’s pregnant with 3rd.
He fell way first.
Hate 3rd act and thank god it was over quick. The first 60% of this book I swooned over Xander. Some lines got really Cheesey but what a great book boyfriend.
Triggers: loss of parent, loss of spouse - both a part of plot

I loved this audiobook! If you like a super steamy romance with realistic characters in their 30s/40s this is an absolute must read. It’s single mom/brother’s best friend and deals with grief (loss of a parent/loss of a spouse) with the nuance they deserve. The narrators both also do a fantastic job!
