OMG WHO IS THIS MAN?!

I freaking LOVE Xander!!!

Living next door to Teddy, he finds himself having to step in and deliver her baby when she goes into labour at home.

Teddy lost her husband in an accident, leaving her a single mum, and she struggles with her feelings for Xander and honouring her late husbands memory.

The chemistry between these two is soooo good!!!!

And the audio!!! What fantastic narrators! 😍

Honor wraps up the Sky Ridge Hotshots series with flair, penned by the fabulous Danielle Baker. Even if you missed the first two, you can dive into this standalone delight.
Xander's been secretly swooning over his best bud's sister, Teddy, for ages. But there was a hitch—she was married. Fast forward, and Teddy's back in their quaint hometown after a heart-wrenching loss, juggling a pregnancy and two kiddos, conveniently settling next door to Xander.
Oh, the feels! The drama! The spicy moments! That mirror scene? It's taken up permanent residence in my brain!
This tale is a masterclass in timing, healing, and do-overs. It's about a woman discovering that love doesn't hit the brakes with loss and a man summoning the guts to ditch his ego for something extraordinary.
And the narration? Pure magic! Aiden Snow and Vanessa Edwin knocked it out of the park, bringing every scene to life with gusto

Teddy lost her husband about a year earlier and Xander is cal best friend (her brother) but also has loved Teddy from afar for a long long time.
To see Xander as a father figure was perfection and Teddy was a strong woman raising 3 kids all on her own and she was incredible
Loved every moment of this audio book

Honor—

Danielle Baker (Sky Ridge Hotshots, #3)

”I just… I want you to know that I’m here. And I see you, sweetheart. Every part of you, beautiful.”

A single mom who’s struggling to keep it all together meets the firefighter next door who happens to be her brother’s best friend and boss… and has also been in love with her for years.

Tropes:
— Age gap
— Single mom
— Love after loss
— Best friend’s sister
— Firefighter
— Boy obsessed
— Forced proximity (neighbors)

Honor is such a sweet, wholesome yet spicyyyyyyy small town romance! Xander is the definition of swoon-worthy. He’s so considerate and generous and a natural caretaker so watching him interact with Teddy and the kids was a straight shot to the ovaries.

Absolutely loved listening to Teddy and Xander’s story in audio, narrated by the most amazing Aiden Snow and Vanessa Edwin! The duet style brought the story to life so so well and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Thank you so much to Must Love Audio for the ALC!

So sadly this book just didn’t hit the spot for me. It definitely had insta love vibes but it was more just insta attraction but nothing really felt emotional or connected between the two of them? Besides Xaden being a dream dad was so cute but that was pretty much the gist of their relationship. And the end just irked me - I saw it coming from pretty early on but I just had hopes that it wouldn’t end with him quitting and just didn’t feel right. Like at least give him some other job related by safe? Also called the accidental pregnancy if you can even call it accidental lol
