Wow, Honor was everything I wanted and so much more. This final book in the Sky Ridge Hotshots series absolutely delivered—Teddy and Xander’s story was emotional, swoony, and heart-melting in all the best ways. Danielle Baker knocked it out of the park with this one!
The Setup
Teddy’s life has been turned upside down. She’s a widowed single mom with two kids and another baby on the way, trying to hold it all together. Enter Xander—her late husband’s best friend, her brother’s boss, and now her next-door neighbor. Oh, and he’s been secretly in love with her for years. Talk about a setup!
From the very start, Xander is there for Teddy in every way possible. He helps deliver her baby in an emergency home birth (seriously, talk about stepping up!), supports her through the chaos of parenting three kids, and slowly but surely starts breaking down the walls around her heart. Teddy, still grieving and trying to find her footing, is hesitant to open up, but the way Xander loves her—and her kids—makes it impossible to resist.
What I Loved
❤️ Teddy’s Growth: Watching Teddy learn how to lean on someone else and believe she could find love again was so beautiful. She’s strong, vulnerable, and so easy to root for.

4.5/5 stars!
I love this series! It's not my usual dark themed book, but it has great spice and wonderful characters. I love the first responder representation throughout the whole series. Despite each book being written by a different author, the character cameos feel authentic and tie in the books. I love the covers, and the audiobook narrations for these three books are amazing!
