This was such an interesting series. I’m definitely intrigued to continue on eventually with Sage’s story. The peaks into her story seem even more interesting.

I just can’t get past the books weird premise. Who would ever want to be romantically involved with three BROTHERS at the same time.... while all three knew she was equally involved with their BROTHERS.

I mean the writing wasn’t great, but it wasn’t horrible it was a decent amount of cringey but you live and learn. But I’m sooo sorry BROTHERS?! I mean I finished the series (more to boost my reading challenge

It's official I am committed to this new world. The Seven Kingdoms, Rybet aka Zarina and Sage.
I enjoyed the different reveals and the fact that while the ending was happy it wasn't wrapped in a bow. They aren't ready for their HEA, more is to come and I'm going to devour it.

This series is entertaining, refreshing, and just an over all good read. It's solid. Usually at the end of a RH series I do character breakdowns. But I really don't feel the need. I can say that all three guys are sexy, thoughtful, and protective. None of them irked me or had major flaws.

This was Zarina's story. It covered so much. Identity crisis, broken and new found friendships, romance, politics, and self discovery. I love the personal growth that everyone involved exhibited. I look forward to Sage's story whenever it may come.

2.5* In terms of the writing this was probably the best of the series, but it still wasn't great. Ry/Calla/Zafrina (had way too many names for one thing) was just not a very likable character to be honest. She just didn't have anything going for her. She just had the Queen thing handed to her and didn't really fight for anything, and she was definitely too stupid and shallow and selfish to be a good queen anyway, she just happened to have magic.
Apart from that, I was so annoyed at the non-ending this had. I could tell early on the direction this was going with the Princes and I just didn't like it. I know the whole series takes place in 3 weeks, which is annoying in itself, but I still think she needed to choose someone.
For a while there I thought she was going to choose Lee, because when they finally got together she described it as a missing piece falling into place and it was more romantic than anything she had with the other 2, and I thought she was realising the difference between love and lust, but no. She just decided she had 3 missing pieces and they ALL fit together.
Maybe that ending would have seemed better for me if the Princes had had more depth and character development, I guess I was just team Lee the whole time, but Ty and Zan were literally just walking sex machines to her, there was nothing else between her and either of them except sex, and in this book especially they could have been the same person.
It was also really unfair of her to expect them all to be ok with it, especially when Zan at least was very reluctant to do so, and when she was SO jealous if anyone else even looked at any of them. If she wouldn't be ok with it the other way why should she ask it of them?
It was also super unrealistic that 3 brothers would be ok with sharing a lover with each other. By the end they were so chill and walking into the room with her in bed with another one of them and just having a chat, I just found the whole dynamic weird.
Apart from that, the whole plot basically vanished in this book to make room for the 3 romances progressing. It was a pretty short book, so it was basically just her hopping from dick to dick and then becoming queen.
To be fair, I went into this wanting a trashy, entertaining read, and that's what I got. I probably won't read her other work because a lot of reviews said this series was her best work so I don't want to know what constitutes something less good to be completely honest.
It was engaging enough that I saw it though all three books, so I guess it wasn't entirely awful, just ridiculous.

I flew through this books because I wanted to know what happened and was so entertained, like no joke. I find this series very easy to engage in. Here's the thing: you know how usually the heroine does her stuff and saves the world? This girl, very respectfully of course, ain't shit. Basically whatever got solved, other people solved. The guy needed healing? The God appeared. The King needed to be dealt with? Some other guy. The Queen? Another guy. There was a point in which I was wondering what SHE was gonna do. Turns out, not a whole lot.

This book also felt rushed in some way. I feel like in this case, one more book to the series would be benefitial to unravel and solve all the things that were magically solved at the end. Everything was such an easy ending. The author had space in the plot to make one more, so I would have preferred it.

I also think the relationship with the guys were sudden. I know this happens in a span of three weeks, but they had some very valid points when it came to the issues of sharing, and I thought this was going to be something to discuss throughout the book but it was forgotten. Like the MC buried it under so it didn't threaten her happy ending, when actually it would, I think, would have added more to the plot instead.

Not perfect, but very entertaining either way.

Tate James gave us the perfect conclusion to Zarina’s story! Was it this glorious, perfect happily ever after, no. But, it was a happily ever after in its own right. And realistically and exactly what was needed at that moment in time.

This story was action-packed, deliciously sexy and so freaking magical! I did not want to put this book down! I read until I physically couldn’t anymore, because it was SO DANG GOOD! Seriously, I cannot say enough incredible things about this magical series, this enchanting world Tate James has created, and the spellbinding words she weaved onto the pages.

The characters, the storyline, the beautiful magic that was created held me captive from page 1, book 1 until the very last word of book 3. And to hear we get more of Sage, WOOT WOOT!

Seriously, if you haven’t picked up book 1 do it, if you haven’t picked up book 2 do it, and if you haven’t picked up this book (book 3) yet DO IT! Trust me you’ll love it!
