May 1, 2015: My ranking from best to worst book goes Anna, Isla, Lola.

Aaahhhhh love....ain't it grand. Really a nice story. This Author never lets me down with her wonderful little stories of love.

I wanted to love this book as much as I did Anna and Lola, but I just couldn't. There was no build up, there was no tension or drama, and there were no strong supporting characters. I enjoyed reading it and did love Josh and Isla, but overall it fell a bit flat for me.

Brilliant end to a brilliant series. I enjoyed Isla as much as Anna and Lola and although I had a little emotional moment, the conclusion and the realisation of Isla finally understanding who she is and who she wants to be.

4.5 Stars

I so loved this book. Stephanie Perkins perfectly captures the thrill and pure happiness of falling in love. Josh's and Isla's love story was a joy to read and one I'll keep reading. This whole series is gold. Highly recommend!

Really just skimmed it. I have not read her previous books, so perhaps the back stories would make it more interesting. The writing was bland, characters two-dimensional at best.

OMG you guys. Either you’ve read and loved Stephanie Perkins’s previous two books (Anna and the French kiss and Lola and the Boy next Door) or you just haven’t gotten around to reading them yet because this trilogy is a NEW CLASSIC.

Not only does this book have a REDHEAD MAIN CHARACTER but also the standard-issue Perkins DREAMY BOY and INTERNATIONAL CITIES with bonus GALA ATTENDANCE and HEALTHY TEEN SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP.

I like this book. Don’t love it, but don’t hate it either. Really like Josh and Isla though!

I wasn’t sure if Stephanie Perkins’ books would be for me, but after reading this it’s clear they’re not.

It wasn’t a hard book to read, I didn’t find myself too bored or struggling to continue reading, but I just didn’t connect with the characters. I found Isla annoying at times and sometimes felt like she’d cry at the drop of a hat, which is something I can’t stand in characters. I don’t have anything against Josh but I think that I found him a little two-dimensional. The story was also a bit too unrealistic for me, perhaps when I was younger I would have enjoyed it and seen past this.

Note: I read this without realising that the books in this series actually have connecting characters. However I don’t think reading the others would have affected my enjoyment of this book.

Good lord. It's a shame because I LOOOOOVED Anna's book but Lola's and Isla's were just... awful. Also because I remember really liking Josh in Anna's book but here... yikes!
Basically: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/239193574 sums it up pretty well.
The highlight was the St. Clair and Josh's friendship... and that was like 1 line.
