Sweet and Fun

A good book with lots of spice. It was a fun read with parts that were funny, sweet, and hot! And a HEA which Ii love.

Given the super intriguing premise (the series follows a group of gay porn stars), I was surprisingly underwhelmed. It felt like there was too much telling and not enough showing…with both the steam AND the romance.

Bello, non me lo aspettavo.
Forse un po' troppo sesso, ma vista la professione di uno dei protagonisti ci sta.

I have to lead off with...I absolutely HATE this new cover. It's awful. I mean this guy's body looks deformed in some way. I'm glad you aren't supposed to judge a book by it's cover, because surprisingly I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't sure if I would like the porn star theme but this worked for me.

I really liked Rebel/Hendrix and Troy. Troy's backstory broke my heart a little. I got why he was so standoffish with getting close to people. I was so grateful that Rebel understood it as well. Rebel has a great supportive family which was really nice to see.

This really was a low-angst book which was also nice. When there was a conflict, it was resolved within a couple of chapters.

Looking forward to continuing with this series!

Love it. Really wholesome story between a SW and a guy with abandonment issues. Tbh, the guy with the abandonment issues probably needed a bit more character growth. This book could have been a lot darker than it is, just exploring that past and how it hurts his present. The SW aspect is fun and good reprieve from the heavy stuff. They're playful together.

Whew....let me recover a moment cuz that was some filthy, dirty, shit going on. I mean I expected as much in a book about a porn star but damn. Ok I'm good.

As I said this book was chock full of naughty bits, but that wasn't the whole book. There was actually a story line. There was angst. Real emotions and insecurities were involved and I think this book played out well between Hendrix (Rebel) and Troy.

It certainly has me wanting to read the next one. Tank and Brewer I am sure will be just as dirty.

Love Rebel and Troy. They are funny, sweet and totally lovable. I was a bit unsure about starting the series, given its set around porn stars, but it's brilliantly written, with a good storyline.
