This book was literally torture porn. Could have been a great plot in general but it was truly disgusting and so unnecessarily vile and not in a good read kind of way

Okay so I’m not sure how to rate this book. It was interesting and I truly enjoyed it but holy crap it had points where I turned it off. I ended up reading the synopsis for the last few chapters because with one of the main characters name being Lydia… yeah it was just too much. With that being said, i know some people will love this. And as other reviewers have said, i would not classify this as mystery thriller but a horror.
