A solid trilogy all around. I would recommend this to anyone with a desire for a fast-paced sci-fi series with a great cast of characters.

This series owns my heart and soul and is the love of my life!!!

I listened to the audiobook version at work (to help me concentrate on work, and not jump out a window). The voice acting was very well done, and the background music for the countdown pages and the typographical anomalies was a nice touch. AIDAN's errors being read out loud was surprising, and funny. The audiobook version only helped increase my love for this amazing series :)

I appreciated that this book had new characters placed on the ground in Kerenza, as well as having chapters with POVs from the first two books. I think that Ben Garver having issues with the current leader Syra Boll, but I do think he royally f'ed up killing her is his ruse that didn't end in his favor. I don't think that she should have died because she was doing the best she could with what she had, even if Aiden acted rogue again and killed 2000 people. (Also, that is fucked up, but when you think of it, Aiden did what he was programmed to and saved the rest of the fleet from death. Plus, at this point we know he would do whatever he could to save Kady from death.) Kady's reaction to what Aiden did was warranted, but Aiden has already informed her about the air supply issues and should have expected him to do something bad with that information. I liked being in Rhys and Asha's Point of View because the narrator was unreliable, I had to think ahead for why certain things were happening. Like Rhys turning Asha over and taking her Ipad and sending it up to the ship to get hacked, and for Aiden to be able to enter their database. But I liked the way it was written because it allowed doubt to creep into the story. I also appreciated how their were throwbacks to the previous book in this story, like how Hanna was crawling through the airducts to get from point A to point B and that saved them.

Wow, almost perfect ending to an amazing series

A very fun end to the series, but honestly, I think the introduction of another couple was sort of unnecessary. I had more fun with the events following the characters from the two previous books and also already had an attachment to them. The events felt pretty separate for much of the book and led to wonky pacing at times.

Honestly, this series is like watching all the Mission Impossibles or Indiana Jones. I mean, they all are very interchangeable adventures, but you have a fun time watching everything unfold.
