WOOOOOOWWWW!! What an epic ending to an epic trilogy! I loved how everything was wrapped up and I just saw today that there *might* be a spinoff series?!! I’m hoping there is because this is just amazing!
P.S. loved the hijabi representation and wish for more in the future!

One of the best sci-fi series I've ever read. One of the best YA series I've ever read. That both of those things are true about the same series is astonishing.
Obsidio is the impossibly fantastic culmination of The Illuminae Files.
A glorious band of ragtag kids stands in their way; an interstellar Goonies, outsmarting and out-clevering the bad guys at every turn. They're a joyous mess - headstrong, stubborn, dangerous, and funny in a completely refreshing way. Among them is also AIDAN, a military grade artificial intelligence system that is part remorseless murderer, part plucky sidekick, and ever-so-slightly human.
Obsidio has every kind of sci-fi combat: hand-to-hand, surface-to-air, ship-to-ship, and, of course, technology being used - and technology using them. There's a big cautionary tale here about reliance on computers, but sometimes in his simplicity, AIDAN has more common sense than his human counterparts.
This series is fun, funny, and devilishly clever. The writing is electric; whether people are speaking or texting, their individual personalities rocket off the page. I wish I had written this. I wish it would never end. I made an audible noise of despair when I turned the last page, I was so sad to be finished.

Obsidio. What a way to end a series. Jay and Amie did amazingly. They kept to the characters you know and love, and introduced a few more that tug at your heart strings. It was a wild ride, and I will miss The Illuminae Group. And AIDAN, of course. Read this. Read this now.
HOW DOES ONE DESCRIBE THEIR FEELINGS AFTER READING THIS BOOK?? ALL CAPS!! (Get it?) Anyway... This book deserves all of the stars, is all I can say. I have all of the love for this book.

4.5 stars for this book cz gemina was THE BEST ONNNE! But AIDEN got less screen time in that so idkkk I LOVED ALL 3 BOOKS BASICALLY AIDEN IN BOOK 1 AND 3 WAS KAMALLLLLLL ABSOLUTLY PSYCHOTIC
Obsidio felt like a wrap up for the previous two books with similar concepts repeated (with few new ones) maybe I was expecting something else.
I can yap on abt this series forever (if my short term memory loss allows me to, atleast I cant stop yapping today)
The artwork and concept and creativity and AUDIOBOOKKK was insannnne! how can people be so creative!?!?!
