While it was a fun read and overall interesting/satisfying conclusion to the series, there were definitely times the pacing was off and relationships that felt underdeveloped. I wish they had cut the Ben Garver plot point and instead used that time to develop the relationships of the central characters a bit more.
There are so many different emotions listening to this trilogy. I really liked this ending. I wish we could have spent a bit more time with Asha and Rhys but at the same time, I was really glad to keep tabs with our other heroes.
This series was seriously amazing. I was on the edge of my seat for so much of this book and the whole trilogy. Extremely well done and happy with the end result.

This is hands down one of the best books series I have ever read. This is book three and does and amazing job wrapping up the story in a thrilling way. I lived and loved these characters through three amazing stories of laughter, shock and tears. I have added these authors to my automatic read list. I picked the first book up because of the format, I love books like this it is made up of transcripts, posters, letters, messages etc. I love how the authors pieced together a thrilling ride that keeps you hanging on until the end. Highly recommended!!!!

i really liked the first and second books, but for some reason this one seemed weaker than the others in this series - probably because this book was trying to tie together the two stories we followed in illuminae and gemina and a new story/romance which i wasn't as attached to because of it
i did appreciate how the authors gave all their characters, even the "villains" in this story, complexity and humanity, and there were some strong and generally thought provoking messages in this book and series that are especially relevant during these times/the rapid rise of ai in pretty much everything
the ending of this one was honestly really emotional and tied together the series really well (although it did kind of rely on deus ex machina like the other ones but i kinda expect that from this series atp )
overall, this was a pretty good conclusion to the series, and i would definitely want to reread this series on audio (ideally closer together since i feel like i missed some things since i read the second book so long ago)
also sidenote: why do i genuinely want a sentient ai x human romance after reading this series????

The previous two instalments were so good that my expectations were exceedingly high. I’m pleased to say that Obsidio delivered :O)
While the Hypatia makes its slow return to Kerenza, we witness what has been happening on the planet, invaded by the BeiTech forces who are keeping the few remaining survivors under their thumbs, treating them like slaves. Our third ‘couple’ is introduced and this time one of them is working for the wrong side. I appreciated that the authors gave that point of view. They in fact went even further, showing how the greatest threat isn’t some alien species but humanity - how we all think our side is the right one, how the ‘other’ is wrong, whether due to their age, gender, culture, political view, position, etc. To me, this mirrored a lot of what is going on in real life...
Coming back to the story, this third instalment features the cast of all three books. Yes, this means that the third couple gets less limelight, but it all worked beautifully (apart from one tiny detail but I can forgive them for that). And we get the wonder that is Aidan once more :O)
I’ve really enjoyed this compelling trilogy. Can’t wait to see what the duo will come up with in the future.
