What can I say, I love mothman and I LOVE that this book has such good chronic illness rep, I love that her illness didn’t magic away, I think that’s really important. I love their dynamic and I love this book and I’m impatiently awaiting book 3

WOW! This sequel did not disappoint! I loved seeing the fae realm and learning all about Moth’s origins and family. The new characters introduced are just perfect. I am so glad that Heather is making more friends, and that they love her for who she is, weird human quirks and all. The story was super engaging, but the first half was just a tad slower than the second. Once I got past the halfway point, I devoured this book.

I absolutely adore Heather. She is a fierce and loving woman with a weakness for pretty ladies. She has confidence, but still suffers from moments of anxiety. She loves sparkly, poofy dresses, but eagerly runs barefoot through the forest. We don’t have all that much in common, but I see so much of myself in Heather, including her flaws. I also struggle to balance pleasing the people around me with taking care of myself. She makes me feel seen.

My only complaint is that I now have to wait until next year to see how Heather and Moth’s story will conclude. I am so excited to read from Moth’s perspective and get a glimpse into the inner workings of our broody dark prince.

I don’t know if my reading tastes are in the process of changing or if I just have a strange soft spot for Mothman, but I am having so much fun with this series. I read I’m in Love with Mothman a couple of months ago and I’m so happy I didn’t have to wait too long for book two.

Picking up a year after the first book ends, Heather and Moth find themselves being summoned to Eclipsica. Moth doesn’t have many memories after being banished from his home realm so assumes he’s been called to trial. Neither he nor Heather anticipated a family reunion. Over the course of their stay, Heather, for the first time, starts to doubt the future of their relationship now that she’s the outsider.

This story had much more of a fantasy feel than the first book. Not being super interested in fantasy as a genre, I can’t say I enjoyed it as much as the first even though I still had a ball reading. I struggled to follow along because I’m not used to this kind of world-building. Thankfully, there wasn’t an overwhelming amount of details. I enjoyed the family dynamic most. I’m looking forward to book three!

The scream I scrumpt when this hit my kindle!! I’m Engaged to Mothman was one of my most anticipated sequels of the year and it did not disappoint!!

We pick up right where I’m in Love With Mothman left off with the love-cryptids being whisked away by a mysterious magical summons. When they arrive, they find themselves not only in an alternate realm - but in Moth’s homeland! Memories are unlocked, family secrets are revealed, royal balls are thrown and emotions are conflicted in this fantastic installment of Paige Lavoie’s swoon-worthy cozy fantasy monster romance!

From the royal court of Eclipsica to the Mothman Festival in West Virginia and everything in-between…I’m Engaged to Mothman is full of romance, adventure, family, friendship, mystery and all the cozy vibes! I’m absolutely loving this series and cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Thank you so much to Paige Lavoie for the advanced copy!

I absolutely ATE this book up!

I feel like since the first book Heather has really grown into herself. Moth is just a broody and cute as always! I adored how their relationship grew.

While I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope, I will say it had my BAWLING my eyes out!! But that’s what a great book will do to you right? A great book will have you feeling all the emotions. I was laughing, smiling, giggling, and crying throughout reading I’m Engaged To Mothman!

I absolutely cannot wait for the third book!.
