Slow start and I didn't like the characters during the first part of the book. However, I really started to enjoy and appreciate later into the book.

I’m not rating this one for now.

The premise is intriguing, but I really felt let down. The characters seemed cookie-cutter like, two dimensional at best.

I know it has many 5-star reviews, but I only wanted the actual history after reading this.

The storyline was compelling, but the writing left much to be desired. The characters felt flat, and there was way too much internal monologue.

Outstanding! I have read so many WWII historical fiction books, most from the women and children's perspectives, and I can't stop finding more! The Alice Network is at the very top of my list.

Vibes of The Nightingale, The Women in the Castle, and All the Light We Cannot See. I enjoyed the complex characters, dual narratives, women empowerment, and found family themes.
